Do I need a separate OpenAI key in the plugin?
No. PageQual holds the upstream OpenAI key. Your plugin uses a PageQual API key with the openai scope.
How do SERP checks work?
Requests go to POST /v1/serp/find-position. They are queued server-side and billed as SERP requests against your plan.
What happens when I hit a limit?
The gateway returns a quota error (typically 429). Remaining shows token and SERP usage for the current plan period.
Can I use PageQual without WordPress?
Yes. Any client that speaks the OpenAI-compatible and SERP endpoints can use your PageQual key.
How does billing work?
Self-serve checkout runs through Paddle when enabled on a plan. Admins can also assign plans manually.
